"Hotter than hell and a lot more fun. Skye Jordan's writing sizzles!"
-Elisabeth Naughton, New York Times bestselling author

A couture wedding dress designer to the rich and famous, Lexi LaCroix's image means everything. Raised on the wrong side of the tracks, her years of polish and hard work are finally about to pay off. But crossing paths with a sexier-than-sin, bad-boy biker who makes her realize how much living she's sacrificed for her success, one touch is all it takes to threaten her carefully choreographed life.

Jax Chamberlin has been screwed over by gorgeous gold-diggers one too many times. Though he runs his own stunt company, all of America knows his Hollywood face even years after he's given up acting. Finding a woman who doesn't plan to use him as a stepping stone to success is virtually impossible, so when the charming and mysterious Lexi offers him a chance at a totally anonymous hook-up during an out of town trip, Jax accepts. Only Lexi is more sextacular than charming, and Jax wants more. Lots more.

But Lexi's got a major hang-up over his renegade lifestyle. And if she finds out his connections could catapult her to the top of her career, he's afraid the fantasy woman he's falling for might just end up like all the rest.

Warning: This novel contains uber-hot sexual encounters. For safety's sake, read along with pitcher of ice-water. Or...wine...

The Romance Vault's Verdict - ♥♥♥♥♥ Sparkly Diamante hearts!

I'm going with more like 4.5 stars for this book and actually it's nudging so close to 5 I may have to revisit my stars.......... damn it I already did, it has to have the fully monty.

So what do you want to read when your coming out of the tail end of flu fog? Your brain is still slightly away with the fairies, it's not easy to concentrate on the written word and you've felt at your lowest for the past week - well for me I want a book that leaves me feeling good and crikey I picked a corker with Reckless.

This was without a doubt a brilliant feel good factor book and it was the perfect read for me. Some of the text peed me off slightly at the start, and I found it every so slightly waffly at the beginning too, but then when they were texting it hit me I was really enjoying it and I was a gonner - I fell in love with Jax and Lexi.

I would absolutely love to see this as a movie, it nudges towards chic-lit but is also very adult too, I suppose the monica is NA but that seems too general.

This was for me like watching my favourite movie The Holiday, cuddled up with cocoa on the couch and losing myself to a really good storyline. I loved how they met, I loved his job as a stuntman, I didn't like how he had been treated by family and women, I wanted him to find his happiness. I totally understood where Lexi was coming from as she was trying to make it in the Couture world of designer dresses. I got why she couldn't be seen with him and why she found it hard to let herself fall for him.

This had highs and lows and highs again, for me it really did tick all of the boxes for a great romantic read. Really looking forward to more from this author.
