I received an ARC of this in return for an honest review.

OK so you all think that when you read an ARC based review your automatic reaction is its kinda biased especially when you see it's been awarded 5 stars....well.... it's the truth isn't it? But I promise that as always my review is my own.  It's completely how I felt and how I perceived this book and I feel it is totally worthy of a 5 star accolade, heck it's actually worth far more than a mere 5 stars.

I was intrigued by the premise that it's written in the male lead's POV and written by a man and add to that by a man who has intimate knowledge of the BDSM lifestyle. That's enough to catch anybody's attention that reads erotic novels like this.

The concept of Interview with a Master sets it apart from all the other BDSM books out there. Yes it's erotic and graphic but it's also sensual and informative but there isn't a contract wielding dominance enforcing, whip lashing, romanticised alpha male in sight - refreshing yes? But..... Jonah oozes control and owns the room when he's in it. He kinda makes other BDSM book boyfriends look a tad naive and wet behind the ears ☺, he simply comes across as The Master and without even trying!

This is SO WELL written, it grabbed me right from the get-go and is by far more than just reading about Jonah Noble being interviewed.

This really is deeper than a man sitting (or in Jonah's case; pacing) and doing an interiew with a journalist. It's deeper than just reading yet another book about the BDSM lifestyle. You are absolutely NOT subjected to lessons on the lifestyle, there is a great story that runs with the interviews. You'll find yourself asking questions, like; why is he doing this interview when he's such a private person? Why is he asking Leticia some of the questions he is? Who is Trigg and why does she live with him? Why did he part ways with his submissive Caroline six months ago? See there is loads more to this than you think.

If your going into this thinking it's going to read like a lot of the erotic BDSM novels out there, then think again. I don't quite know how to put my finger on what sets this apart from all the rest other than it absolutely isn't innocent girl meets over dominant, messed up alpha male whose a control freak. I would just say it's on a whole other level and that level sets it apart from most of the other novels written about BDSM.

Jason Luke has delivered an extremely well presented story and I hope that at the way it has been left that there will be more from Jonah Noble, a lot more!
